Monday, Sept. 10

- Check out an incredible roster of local artists at the Michigan Regional Exhibition at the Muskegon Museum of Art, 296 W. Webster Ave., 10am-5pm.
- End of Summer Art Show at the Art Cats Gallery, 1845 Lakeshore Dr., 11am-5pm.
- City Commission work session, City Commission Chambers, room 107 in City Hall, 933 Terrace St. See the agenda here. 5:30pm.
- Community Cruise: Explore the Reese & Sheldon playgrounds with fellow bicyclists. Meet at the Muskegon Farmers Market, 6:30pm.

- Check out an incredible roster of local artists at the Michigan Regional Exhibition at the Muskegon Museum of Art, 296 W. Webster Ave., 10am-5pm.
- End of Summer Art Show at the Art Cats Gallery, 1845 Lakeshore Dr., 11am-5pm.
- Best-selling author Beverly Lewis will talk about her latest release, “The First Love,” at Hackley Library, 316 W. Western Ave., 2-3pm.
- City Commission meeting, City Commission Chamber, room 107 in City Hall, 933 Terrace St., 5:30pm.
- Come out and join law enforcement for the 2018 LETR Muskegon Color Run, which supports Michigan’s Special Olympics athletes. The 5K race is open to runners and walkers, and registration for anyone over the age of 18 is $25. See more information about how to register here. Registration the day of begins at 5pm and race begins at Fricano’s at 6:30pm.
- Take a voyage through our universe, galaxy and solar system in search of liquid water in the free “Oasis in Space” program from the Muskegon Community College’s Carr-Fles Planetarium, MCC main campus, 221 S. Quarterline Rd., room 135 7-7:35pm.

- The Muskegon Museum of Art kicks off its Friends of Art Fall Lecture Series with a presentation from Corey Hampson, the president and owner of Habatat Galleries in Royal Oak, Mich. He hosts the largest and oldest annual studio glass exhibition in the world. Admission is $15 at the door. Call 231-720-2580 to register. Doors open at 6:30pm and lecture starts at 7pm.
