From the Michigan Irish Music Festival to the Muskegon Civic Theatre’s debut of “Disenchanted,” and so much more, there’s a ton happening around town this weekend.

Friday, Sept. 14
- Check out an incredible roster of local artists at the Michigan Regional Exhibition at the Muskegon Museum of Art, 296 W. Webster Ave., 10am-5pm.
- See the Red Lotus Center for the Arts’ Black & White Exhibit, 356 W. Western Ave., 10am-6pm.
- Grand Rapids-based alt-country band Deep Greens & Blues performs at Unruly Brewing, 360 W. Western Ave., 8:30pm-11:30pm.
- End of Summer Art Show at the Art Cats Gallery, 1845 Lakeshore Dr., 11am-5pm.
- Celebrate the return of school with an apple craft that you can take home at the Lakeshore Museum Center, 430 W. Clay Ave., 12-3pm.
- The Michigan Irish Music Festival is back! Get in free from 5-6pm, otherwise tickets are $20 on Friday. 5-11pm.
- Forget the princesses you think you know. The Muskegon Civic Theatre debuts “Disenchanted” at the Frauenthal Center’s Beardsley Theater. Buy tickets here. 7:30pm
Saturday, Sept. 15
- Get all your fruits & veggies at the Muskegon Farmers Market, 242 W. Western Ave., 8am-2pm.
- Families affected by autism in Muskegon and the surrounding area are invited to join the Autism Network of Muskegon for an opportunity to meet other families, socialize, and play board games. City of Muskegon Fire Department, 770 Terrace, 9-11am.
- The final Saturday Beach Pilates at Pere Marquette Beach, 1631 Beach St., 10am.
- See the Red Lotus Center for the Arts’ Black & White Exhibit, 356 W. Western Ave., 10am-4pm.
- The Michigan Irish Music Festival is in full swing at Heritage Landing, $25, 11am-11pm.
- End of Summer Art Show at the Art Cats Gallery, 1845 Lakeshore Dr., 11am-5pm.
- Bring your own miniature to paint (or purchase one of your choice) to The Griffin’s Rest. Paint, supplies, and instruction (to your liking) will be provided. 1121 Third St. 2-5pm.
- The Michigan Lighthouse Conservancy offers tours of the Muskegon South Pierhead Light every Saturday in September, $2 for children under 12, $3 for veterans and active duty military, $4 for adults (cash only, please). 4:30pm-7:30pm.
- The Secret Bellydancers of Muskegon host this fun event to benefit Pound Buddies Rescue at the Rusty Spoke (be sure to bring some pet food and/or supplies to donate), 2411 Hall Rd., 7-9:30pm.

- The Mike Frost Project, a Chicago-based jazz group, gets its groove on at 18th Amendment, 350 W. Western Ave., 8-11pm.
- Skyking, a progressive rock band from Grand Haven, will play at Racquets Downtown Grill, $5 cover, 446 W. Western Ave. 9pm-1am.
- Michigan Irish Music Festival Band and Fan Party at Unruly Brewing. All Michigan Irish Music Festival entertainers will get their first drink for $1 and can sing/perform to earn more. 360 W. Western Ave. 10pm-12am.
Sunday, Sept. 16
- Last day of the Michigan Irish Music Festival at Heritage Landing, 10am-6pm.
- Retro Expo at the Muskegon Farmers Market, 242 W. Western Ave., 11am-3pm.
- Support the VFW Post 7729 for a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser featuring a cash bar, silent auction, 505/50 raffle, live music, bake sale, and more, 6285 E. Apple Ave., 12-5pm.
- The inaugural Brave Hearts Pinup Contest at the Muskegon Farmers Market Retro Expo, $10. All proceeds will benefit the Brave Hearts Estate, a nonprofit that hosts a recreational retreat for wounded veterans and their families. 12pm-3pm
