Still looking for something to do on New Year’s Eve in Muskegon? Whether you want to get dressed to the nines, dance the night away, welcome 2019 with our hometown hockey team, or party like it’s the 90s, there is something for everyone in the city tonight. Happy New Year, everyone!

Swing dance party at 18th Amendment

What: Get out your fedoras and flapper dresses: the Muskegon Area Dance Lovers is inviting everyone to an evening of swing dancing at 18th Amendment. Live jazz will be provided by Kathy Lamar and Crew. Era appropriate attire is encouraged, but not required. Drink and food specials will be available. For more information, click here.

When: Doors open at 8pm, live music begins at 9:30pm.

Where: 18th Amendment, 350 W. Western Ave. in downtown Muskegon.

Cost: There will be a $5 cover charge at the door.

Celebrate 1990s-style at Unruly Brewing’s prom

What: Get out your best 90s prom attire: PROJECT 90 will be counting down to 2019 with all your favorite 90s rock at Unruly Brewing. The Unruly Prom will include party themed favors, Polaroid photos, a champagne toast at midnight, live entertainment, and more. For more information, click here.

What: The Muskegon Lumberjacks will take on the Chicago Steel during this New Year’s Eve game. An after-game party will include music, drink specials, a chocolate fountain, and more. For more information, click here.

When: The puck drops at 8:15pm.

What: The Holiday Inn in downtown Muskegon is celebrating the New Year with an all-inclusive package for two that includes: overnight accommodations, champagne upon arrival, a dinner buffet (see full menu here), an open bar from 9pm to 1am, a balloon drop, champagne toast and midnight snacks, a breakfast buffet on New Year’s Day, a late checkout of 1pm, a photo booth with props, and live entertainment by Great Scott. Michael Jackson Tribute Party at Bella Maria’s

What: Dance and eat the night away at Bella Maria’s Michael Jackson Tribute Party. In addition to a performance by acclaimed Michael Jackson impersonator Danny Dash Andrews, there will be a buffet featuring prime rib, grilled ribeye pork chop, blackened catfish, shrimp jake, Tuscan chicken, desserts, and more.
