Know a business that’s making a difference in Muskegon area?

You can nominate them for the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce’s new Business Excellence Awards through Friday, March 15.

This year, the Chamber is expanding its previous work honoring local entrepreneurs to offer the Business Excellence Awards.

“Going forward we will not only recognize an entrepreneur each year, the chamber will seek out excellence in manufacturing, tourism, retail, service, non-profit and community engagement,” Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce President Cindy Larsen said in a press release.

Nominees should demonstrate excellence in a number of the following areas: dedication to diversity and inclusion, commitment to the environment, quality products or service, profitable growth and innovation in products or process, and investments in facilities and/or people.

Locally owned businesses or nonprofits are preferred, but all nominations will be accepted.

The nomination form and supporting information can be submitted to the Chamber by the end of the business day on Friday, March 15. To nominate a business, please click here, and for more information, click here.
